    Love the pic of the kids on the unicycle. The days when you were allowed to let your kids find their limits. Just past the limit means grazed elbows and knees.

    Bit of info on this one:

    Auto Barge 1949

    July 26, 1949 Southeast Missourian
    The towboat, Commercial Tennessean, stopped in Cape Girardeau overnight for engine repairs while on the way from Memphis to St. Louis with a loaded automobile carrier type barge. The barge, three decks high, was carrying 137 new Ford automobiles for delivery to St. Louis, from where they were to be distributed to the dealer trade. After repairs the tow was to proceed today.     Local Dodge dealer was allowed to pace the Indy 500, he came in to the pit too fast and crashed, I have the pit incident on 8mm film taken by my father who was standing there when the crash happened. The pace car has since been restored, was supposed to be given to Al Unser the winner that year, Dodge let him pick something else, he chose a Charger, he still feels the pace car rightfully belongs to him.
