They don't even do that level of horror in the worst shock movies. I'm sure people would get up and walk out if they thought people could die that way.
Makes you concerned for police, firemen, paramedics and ambulance drivers who see this kind of thing far too much.

I'd be guessin' it's 1972 then - the Maverick that Gapp & Roush were running would have been a current car. They started making Mavericks in 1970 so the earlier years don't work and by 78, they would have used something else.
