What's up with all of the new photos you are posting??

 

You woke up my "memory marbles" with this one Maggie.. I had that same "Paladin" gun set when I was about eight! Dad printed me extras of the "business cards" the set came with at his workplace; as I was handing them out to everyone in the neighbourhood!

It also looks a lot like that actor from "The 70's Show" to me, Topher Grace. This could be a modern PR photo taken while they were filming the episode where he took Red's new Vette out for a joy ride. Or not. Gary

My brother-in-law grew up on Catalina Island here off the coast of Long Beach and he said in the mid 60s someone drove one of those Amphi Cars from the mainland to the Island, a distance of 23 miles or so depending on where you leave. It made a huge impression on him, said there was a big celebration with a band and a picnic to greet the brave sob who drove across the channel for this publicity stunt. He was about 8 at the time, the family still has the house on the Island and he owns one of those Amphi's, but only puts it in fresh water.

I've read where they drove them across one of the Great Lakes, maybe that's where this shot was taken?

 

The one on the right kinda looks like Caitlin Jenner from waist down.

 

Looks like but not from the 70's show as there would not have been an ad for the new Corvair..
