  8. This is the old "Coon Chicken "restaraunt on Sandy Blvd. It's hard to believe today that such blatant racism was accepted then.JEEEZ.

  10. The old Crab Broiler in Portland. You always had to wait to get a table, but it was great. It's replacement is like a giant Denny's. Not the same at all.

  14. Portlanders, does loyd Center still exist? In 1960 when it opened, it was the largest shopping mall in the nation. Part of the north wing.

  16. Been posted a billion times, but it's my hometown of Milwaukie's ( a suburb of Portland), claim to fame. At it's peak,they had maybe a dozen gas pumps and a resteraunt. We used to play baseball just behind it at the Elks club field. It was quite the landmark!
