    I have seen a few miscatagorized or mislabeled pictures here and so what still a beautiful pic, and I may be wrong so rather than open my mouth and call someone out on what I may consider a major error I would PM them for clarification so that my stupidity could be kept between just us and not publicized if I was wrong and if right then they could easily post a correction and all would be well..
    All just my opinion and we all know what that's worth so yeah back to the pics!!

    My dad and I used to launch in new boston years ago to run up to the lock and damn to fish for sauger in the fall. then in summer we would bass fish the backwaters and bells pocket. good times!:D

    Very interesting machine. It is made to run equally well in either direction and the control set is duplicated on either side of the driver's cab, so that in whichever direction the machine is traveling the control levers are on the right side. It had a ships wheel in the center. Here's a couple interior pics from that link.

    Here's another take on the Street Tractor concept. It's a Euclid tractor adapted to haul railcars. It has dealer license plates (1948) so perhaps it is something the PRR was testing? Dig the hot rod rake.
