This series of photographs by the Automobile Club of Southern California attempts to demonstrate the danger which children playing in streets pose to drivers and to remind them to stay alert when behind the wheel. The images were all taken in the Wilshire Boulevard and McCadden Place area of Los Angeles.

They're a collection from the world over. Don't know who did the work. I skip those that don't think are as interesting and am about 2/3 the way through. Glad you enjoy them.

The tail gunner survived, couldn't get out of the tail, but when the bomb bay doors opened, one of the waist gunners was blown back into the tail, and they retreived him, but realized that crew weight helped to stabilize the tail, so the gunner remained there until the plane landed in England (and, yes, it flew from England to Tunisia, mission distance was not that far off from the B-17 missions from England to eastern Germany)

A Ferrari driver with coveralls. I'm wondering if this is Carroll Shelby?

Any info on this one? Filming at the Cuban Grand Prix, maybe? Note the delete plates for the lower lights on that '57 Lincoln - I've never seen those before.

Yes, Cuban Grand Prix in Havana 1958. Same grouping as other two racing images posted above it.
