  2. Here's an interesting bit of baseball memorobilia, a car only used at the stadium, between the bullpen and the dugout. What a collectable! Does anyone know if they still do this, or is it all golf carts now?

Really ??????????? Tell us pushbutton equipped TorqueFlite racers more.......

What carnage like this led to was a ban neutral starts: Where you had the trans in neutral, decked the throttle and popped it into Drive.

Still in the NHRA rule book.

I'd say ol' Ernest is well armed with that .45 "Chopper".

Hate to admit it but I was only at Niagara Dragstrip twice.
And that was in it's final year (though we didn't know that at the time).
I graduated high school in 74 and that was their final season.

    For anyone interested.
The Niagara Dragstrip Video reunion is coming up on April 7th at the Aud Sports Bar and Grill.
They are at 6036 Transit Road in Depew, NY (Rt. 78).
Plenty of old video footage of the glory days, and usually Dean Johnson is there with a lot of old photo's and memorabilia.
    Hosted by the Gasser Gang.

    I usually go.......

Other than showing that you are so rich you can treat your hired help like crap, why do so many of the old limousines have open cockpits for the drivers and closed cabins for the owner?

    I have never understood that.

  19. Yes, certainly some history lessons to be learned about the Snow Cruiser here. I found most previous posts and read most. Thanks.

The Tragic 1895 Train Wreck at the Paris, France, Montparnasse Station: It is fairly likely that many of you may have seen this photo above before, of the famous 1895 train wreck. After seeing photos of it recently, it prompted us to learn more and find out the cause behind it. See many more photos, TWO GREAT videos and all the details @
