i've been going there since the mid 60's, i've never seen this pic with the old cars, really cool. still looks very similar but the parking lots bigger, thanks

Here's a couple that I got from Vintage Phoenix on Facebook. 1st is downtown Scottsdale in the '50s and the 2nd is looking north from 724 So. Central, also from the 50s.
Driver in the second photo down in Post 63373 looks like the late Dick Freeman from the Dayton, Ohio area. A great ARCA driver and a good friend.
That is a modern photo of Ray Kroc's 1st francised McD's in DesPlaines, IL. It's about 10 minutes north of O'Hare Airport and it's a static museum.
It was actually a working McDonald's until about 1986 when they built a modern one across the street and decided to turn this into a museum.

Looks like the destruction by fire of the old Sutro baths in San Fransisco. Google it, it was a pretty cool place.
