My mother had this exact '50 Mercury 1950-53. 3 on the tree with an overdrive which I assume was an option.
Of course it is. I used to see him around our neighborhood shopping area near the ABC studio in that '59 Dodge convertible which was purple IIRC. Dodge was his sponsor.
