    Now I am seeing Corvairs in my sleep!
    After a while, it starts to get crazy I understand some people love them but they were never that popular back in those years anyway and I think that why they stopped making them.

    Roger Ward was a world War II veteran , I believe he flew a P-38. Roger also won the 1959, and 1962 Indianapolis 500 ![​IMG]

    They stopped making them due to the negative BS of Ralph Nader. If they were not popular, that was the sole reason. I had a '61 Monza 4spd coupe for a few months in 1962. It was ok but not as much fun as I thought it might me. I didn't hate it. The redesigned ones in the mid-60's were very nice looking and had corrected Nader's complaints but the damage has already been done.

    In my opinion,the Corvair Coupe is a really elegant car.

    The good thing about revolvers is that you can "Limp Wrist" them and they still work. But in this case I think she is about to receive and nice knot on her forehead.
