    @Moriarity cool stuff! This last bunch are all from Edmonton in the old Sportex building on the Northlands site here in town. It was torn down in about 2008 to build a new Expo center. Built in 1962 so a pretty new building at the time of these pictures.

    Those guys were serious, Winnipeg has got to be 16 hours from Edmonton, on today's roads. That would have been one hell of a drive in '62.

    I failed to mention, during my excitement over seeing actual Western Canadian rod and custom history, I don't give 2 shits where this car is from, it is absolutely bitchin!! Spectacularly well detailed, wonderfully executed, and super tasty. I sure hope it's still out there somewhere.
