Great video, in glorious black and white! Thanks for posting, that's the first I've this clip.

But what about that Gratiot Auto Chevelle about 50 seconds in? That's one strange duck, isn't it? It's got an altered wheelbase but it looks like the rear axle was moved back 6 or 8 inches! No wonder they had to put down so much rosin!

So what do you think are the chances that that car is stashed away in the back of sombody's garage???

Edit: Just went back and watched that clip again. Not sure but I think that Chevelle may be a mid-engine car! That explains the rear axle location!

 

Looks like E.J.Potter The Michigan Madman on the bike. Saw him run at Central Michigan Dragway a few times in the 60's. Brings back memories, thanks for sharing.
