My SPD/WK/‘11 photo has the distinction of being deleted from the FAS.
Maybe it’ll fit in here. Pardon the motors. Anyone for a Double-Delete?

On a bicycle ride through the countryside I came upon this bicycle sitting at the side of the road discarded. I know its only a Huffy Good Vibrations model but somehow it spoke to me so I schlepped it home. It has a springer seat and is mostly original. I put new tubes in it. The speedo and odo work. I've been into cars most of my life, but took a break and got into collecting vintage prewar and antique bicycles for the past few years. Here are a few, including some of my girl's.

I grew up in the 80s and I restore old freestyle and bmx bikes of that Era. Not so old as these, but I saw a few others so I'll share mine. I'm definitely searching for an early 50s bike now to go with my car...

I’ve seen one other one and it looked to have been outside for a while, it was rough.
The one I have is in good shape but odometer reads 3259

That is probably alot of miles for a exercise bike,my 1974 10 speed just turned over 5300 miles and it sat in the basement from 1978 to 2015. It had about 2500 on it when I parked it in 78.

  23. We have three exercise bikes in the hoard. I certian they are very old and never used very much. exercise bike 003.JPG exercise bike 004.JPG exercise bike 005.JPG I gathered them up and hung them on the fence to keep the bikes company. Not like Debbie or I would ever use them. I even hung a scooter up there

I decided the Tijuana Reject needed some more shiny stuff so I dug the rear fender out of the pile and cut it up............

Me and my oldest son spent a little time today cleaning up my grandpas bike he bought new the year I was born. Pretty sure it has held up better than I have. I would have been ashamed to show what it looked like yesterday though... I also have my grandmas match to it from the same year...1972.

    Picked up another bicycle today.
More expensive than I liked but have never seen one or even heard about one so just had to have it.
    Year of make is 1937.

What makes it special to me is the fact that it was made in the small industrial town where I live, town is called "Köping" and this is also the same town where all the gearboxes for old Volvo's (Volvo 444, 544, 122 and so on) were made.

'stopped at an estate sale yesterday and Mary bought me an early birthday present.

covered in dirt, grease and dust, tires flat, hardly rolled, something wrong in the rear hub..

    a 1942 Schwinn Autocycle.
From what I gather nothing special but relatively rare serial number as production was limited for the war effort.

The blue rubber white wall tires actually hold air,
the rear hub had been assembled incorrectly, once that was cleaned and put back together right it worked just fine. (Internet search provided parts layout there as it was a bit of a head scratcher)

  30. Found this at an estate sale. I’m guessing 50s era.
