so today we had a little rain, and in the los angeles area the news love to act like we are having a hurricane! in doing so i decided to take the day off i know, i know, making money is important but, sleeping in and listening to the rain pitter patter makes it really hard for me to get up! anyhow went to highland park to get a hair cut and saw an estate sale, and look what i found, just checked and they are dmv clear. now i need to buy a 39 ford to go with my find!
I'd say you hit the 1939 Jackpot but I hope you work for yourself or the boss doesn't see the thread. Rule #1 of skipping work is don't leave any evidence on the internet.
Most Awesome grab!!!!!!! I love estate sales. My wife thought they were creepy till we went to one and the lady who passed had the same size shoe, and great taste. God love the little old lady.
Great line - make sure you do then rehire yourself (with a raise!) so your place doesn't go to hell in a hand-basket!
Nice find ! I struggle with estate sales sometimes when they're run by sharks, but I do like the family run ones.
i felt bad for taking the day off, but after finding these, i knew it was for a reason, the house was full of people and no one even cared about them.

with the prices some of these homes sale at, its not going to be hood much longer. not to long ago the cops did the ave sweep. it was all over the news! thanks i got it on a trade. electrical finish work for a o'keefe merritt stove. only took me a few hours! and i might sell a set or maybe even both? i though better a car guy gets it than someone who will just hang it on a wall. i just couldnt believe no one pick them up!
