Can anyone recommend the very best filler for top of 31 A coupe ? I would like to buy one that a novice could tack down and fit correctly. Am I asking too much or is there one manufactured that is superior other others?
I used a dodge club cab roof... I did not want ribs... sat flat … tacked it down using a screwdriver... I used the original wood bows...
if new to this, be very careful when you want to separate the skin from the inner structure... if you use a chisel or putty knife the tool you use will score through the skin [shows]… to do it again I would get something that "ate" the adhesive... then separate them... HIH.
As I read it. I got the impression he wanted a vinyl type top. But I interpret things different than most people.
sorry, tunnel vison... I read tacked and figured it meant tack welded... but a cloth top also gets tacked on...
