Use for Steering or Driving the HF Bead Roller?

Picked up this steering wheel at a swap last weekend for cheap. Thinking that I would use it on my HF bead roller. Came equipped with the Pep Boys laced leatherette cover, so figured it would be full of cracks. After removing it, turns out there are only two...and easy to fix.

So...instead of beating it up on my roller, I thought that I might figure out what it belongs to. After viewing about a 1000 pics on Google Images last night, I came up empty. Can any of you guys ID this and tell me if I should find it a deserving home?

    Thanks in advance!

    looks like 1940 - 1948 Chevy... that's my guess.

Well that may explain my lack of success. I was using 1950's years in my search. Not thinking 40's for some reason.

Did a search and you nailed it. 1941 to 1948 Chevy.

    Thanks 49RF!
