Just to get all the poop onto one page, here's where we are:

FRIDAY- track will be available at 1:30 for practice laps, then we'll start races at 2:00. Races will be 5 laps each, limited to 5-7 bikes per race (dependent upon number of participants) to keep it safe. Friday's races are for funsies/bragging rights, and to hone skills prior to Saturday's main event.

SATURDAY- same plan as above - 5 lap races of 5-7 bikes per race. Winners of each race will progress to a single 5-lap final, the winner of which will be crowned Grand Champion and who will be obligated to buy beers on Congress Saturday evening.

THE RULES- the overriding goal here is to keep this a fun and safe event for all participants and spectators!! Therefore...
    - Vintage-style bikes (you know... we talked about this...)
    - 6hp max
    - Pull start only
    - No shifters/transmissions (torq-a-verter OK)
    - Must have working brake
    - Helmet, sleeves, pants, shoes, and gloves required to race
    - No over-hyper-zealous-competitive-gripiness allowed... let's keep it fun!!

    NOTES
    - This is a dirt oval race, not a drag race!

    - If you are not registered for the RoundUp, it is OK to bring your bike in with you when you purchase your general admission ticket at the gate.

    - As Bryan stated earlier, let's be careful on the minibikes outside of the race arena. There's gonna be lots of people and cars on the fairgrounds during this incredible event, and we don't need someone or something getting damaged due to irresponsible mini-biking amongst the normal folks.

Any questions, drop me a PM!

    Enjoy!!

Have to... otherwise we'd run into to the backs of them slow, pale folks from non-Texas states.

I'll be there! Hoping to start tuning and tweaking this weekend. And by "tuning and tweaking" I mean roll it out of the shed, put gas in it, and hope it starts without causing too big of a fire.

It'd be better if 6.5 hp engines could race.

Blake that video is awesome. I will need to scrounge around at work to see if I can come up with a bigger engine than the 3.5hp briggs that I currently have, I want that trophy!

Blake that video is great! And I am really glad you guys made the trophy for the event, mine would have sucked. Hey Big Ken, Heather's little sis will not be there, but maybe our HAMB greeting queen Denise might do it.
