took a shot of this yesterday. i think it could be a late thirties plymouth, im sure someone will have a better idea. it is at the local scrap metal yard near here. don't know if there is anything usable on it but if you are in eastern victoria australia it may be worth a look.. i will be back there on the 11 of jan when they re open for business to check out another vehicle and will take some more pics if anyone is interested..cheers........
From the back it could be either, I suspect, I thought '37 Plymouth when I looked at it. Don't they have those tubular front axles some guys like to use?
It was a long time ago, I had a 38 Plymouth. If memory is correct it does have the tubular front end.
I am going to say 37 dodge D5 seven passenger sedan. Only because I owned one. The one I owned, I chopped 5 inches, changed the headlight mounting points, and did a little shaving on it ..John
I'd say it used to have the curved front axle, but it doesn't look like it has anything now. BTW, a 39 look about the same from the rear, but they had an independent front suspension, least here in the states. Gene
Here is a pic of our 39 dodge (canadian) Have you got a pic of the front? headlight placement & shape will help with ID. also a pic of the dash if it is still there.
