universal gas pedals

well all the linkages on my car are messed up and i want to go cable operated. but its in a galaxie with the pedal covers and i want the gas pedal to match the brake pedal somewhat.

 

I used to like the cable gas pedals in the 1968 or so Fairlanes. The 'yards used to say, "just take it" when I took one out of a car. They worked great in stock cars as well.

On Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup, I used a pedal and cable assembly from an early '80s Camaro (free from a parts donor car my brother-in-law had behind his shop), removed the plastic pedal pad and welded on the spoon from the truck's original gas pedal.

 

Does anyone have have some pictures of either swapped or modified pedals?
