"unfinished pile o crap" club, whos in?

This club is speakin my language. The car has slowed down due to the lack of desire to build the pedals,trans tunnel,steering, seats ... you know

I'm in! I have two of em! Tryin to get the Buick driveable so I can drive it in it's obnoxious state and irritate Prius drivers everywhere.

Ha. This thread is my automotive life. I have a car I've driven around with a primered hood for six years. Car show guys make me park across the street.

My "hot rod" is less complete than when I started.

It looked like this when I got it off ebay


I took the grille and hood off to keep the dickheads from stealing it it out of my storage lot and the back end was ditched to haul it.



I have one nailhead in the garage and another in a 65 Buick, a set of Ford wires in the corner and part of the frame I built in another place. What a mess!

 

Boy howdy, do I ever qualify for this club. I actually got an award ? at a car show for my truck going the "longest time unfinished". That is primarily due to the fact that having it "finished" has not been a huge priority for me.

 

Haha.....not much.....a little OT, maybe.....
I did make a new rear window channel to replace the rust.
Other pile's of crap have been taking priority over this one....mainly a '66 Impala.

No thanks, I might have a couple of unfinshed projects, but no way would i call them piles of crab.

None of em are truely piles of crap. Its just a little joke. I dont think we would dedicate our lives to them if we thought they were crap.

 

I think if anyone on here has seen the cars for sale section they know the pile of crap I have been trying to sell for about a year now. ehh, the more no one buys it, the more I "get" to work on it and spend my money on it.

 

On occasion the city has said i should join one!

 

So what you're really getting at here is that we are those guys the rest of the world is bitching about that turn down offers and say "Nope, I'm gonna fix 'er up someday..."

I have a "pile o crap"....it's all setting in my garage. I don't even have room to put my Dodge in there.
