  2. So Interesting: A flashback-- My neighbors (Jerry & Fred Jacobs) and I built a 55 Ford Sedan with an Econoline solid axle and a 427 Sideoiler in about 1967 In Auburn Hills Mi. We were setting it up for Woodward street racing during the Detroit (Det.riot) days because they ran the local CitGo station and we weren't under the curfew.
    So after dark we pulled holeshots on a short deadend street at 5 Points.
    Ended up the local County Sherriff showed up and said let it go.

    We later did a 56 Fairlane HT Black with the same combo: 427 Sideoiler 4 spd and an Econoline axle. Not necessarily a sleeper but did fool a lot of the 1970's muscle cars.
