Who doesn't like the Addams Family.

Here's Jackie Coogan at 20 showing off his brand new '34 Ford sportin' Firestone balloon tires and Clark wheels. Guy should have been driving a Duesenberg with all the millions he made as a child actor in the silent era but his mom and stepfather blew through that dough like shit through a goose.
At any rate, he had good taste in coupes. A few years later he was in a wreck that killed his dad, I wonder if it was in this car?

Anybody got any information on the wheels? Was this a factory option?

    Thanks.

Yeah, he was a child actor. Here's another picture of him at an even younger age with a fellow you probably recognize on the left.

Great pic. It's highly unlikely it's the car his dad was driving in the wreck, however,
as there were three other occupants also killed. (Jackie was the only survivor.)
I believe they were returning from a hunting trip.

BTW, Coogan can also be seen pushing dope to teenagers in the 1958 classic
"High School Confidential" (along with Jerry Lee Lewis, and this famous Barris Chevy.)

Well I'll be...never knew his history. Cool...thanks for sharing, flyin-T.

I learn a lot more on the HAMB than just hot rods...LOL.

BTW...Until now, the implication of the name "Fester" never dawned on me either...as in FESTERING SORE.
