TyRods Swap Meet-Stafford Springs

Any one else go? I saw more stuff for pre 64 cars than I have seen at
other swao meets lately- picked up a good set of fenders for my 50
chevy pu (front). Anyone else fing anything good? Jim

 

Found a few things Hood side panels for future truck, hard top off mg may make fit my roadster few odd stuff also . was way more chainsaws and lawn stuff this time . Nov 4 and 5th is Thompson and nov 5th is lake compoundce also

 

we picked up a trailer load of stuff, lots of good deals and the place was packed.
Lake Compounce is Nov 6th.

 

We did well. Moved a lot of parts yesterday. Jet 1 you might have bought those fenders from us.

 

I miss that Swap meet (And the people) since I moved to Florida in 09'.
Generally speaking, the people at that meet and the Rodders in the NE area have a lot more going on, and aren't busy "Cutting up" ya ride..like they do down here.
If you park your home built $10K car next to a high dollar car here, you get shunned.
I shun back with a "Key" when no ones looking!

I was pleasantly surprised----a few more car parts vendors and a few less lawn care vendors. I bought more parts this time than I did the past two or three times. The fact that it wasn't pouring rain didn't hurt my feelings either. Didn't see any 235 stuff, though.....did you, Joe?

 

No speed stuff for the 235 ,all i saw were some rochester carbs, dosent seem to be alot out there lately.
