Hot Rods Twofer Tuesday on a Saturday!!

So I was perusing marketplace the other day and saw an ad for a 32 and a 37 5w coupe package deal.

the price seemed too good to be true but it was local so of course I had to find out!!

so I messaged the guy and asked him to call me when he had a minute.

20 minutes later my phone rings and I had a nice conversation with the guy, he told me how much he appreciated that I was polite to him, he shared how many people he’d spoken to that day that either lowballed him or was flat out rude to him.

long story short he offered to hold them for me while I got funding nailed down.

needless to say I pulled a rabbit out of my hat and got the funding squared away in a few hours.

so all that said my brother Skeeter and I picked them both up this morning and I can’t stress enough how amazingly solid these cars are.

they were parked in a climate controlled basement in Winston Salem back in 1960 and didn’t see the light of day until recently.

hands down the most solid survivor cars I’ve ever seen let alone actually owned

so aside from them being incredibly solid they both came with a ton of parts including NOS speed parts!!!

You know honestly bud, that last statement is probably the biggest piece of this for me. I try really hard to be as good of a person as I can be (I’m human don’t get me wrong!) but I feel like the effort that I put in to those things absolutely created the space not only in terms of dealing with the seller, but also figuring out the funding piece. I’m grateful as can be. ☺️
