Does anyone have any feedback on tuning Twin carbs for a flathead?
Motor is a stock military 239ci factory relieved block with Fenton exhaust headers and an Eddie Meyer intake with 2 x Stromberg 81s. Air cleaners have K&N filters in 'em. My question is...what size jets should I be running....stock are #35.

hey guys, on 81's you can go up to 37-39's and get a little more out of them without flooding the engine with fuel.

  4. Dickster is right!!

But I'd switch from 81's to 97's or even 48's if it were me.... :)

94's would work great. Just be sure to read 286merc's directions on 94's in the tech area.
Whos running triple carbs on their flathead??
What size jets are you running on a progressive linkage setup?
