  11. thanks max!

Almost everyone does the headers for a hemi like this.

Both Custom built and off the shelf retail. The jog to dodge the frame contradicts with the port but its all because the flanges and pipes start 90* to the machined surface of the head. You'll see what I mean in the following posts.

  12. Which really looks like this to the exhaust flow.
Those gasses just want to make their way out and be happy.

  13. And since the ports direction of flow is like this, I don't think the gasses are happy in the other ever popular by 99% version.

  14. That's why I'm setting mine up like this.
I know its against the status quo and hopefully this plays out well.
Its quite a bit more work and tedious work too, that would be one explanation as to why you don't see many set up like this.

  19. This cobbled mess of a wheel and it looks just as bad on the other side but both will be leaving.
New subrails that follow the frame, some bead roller work and it will nice.

  21. Although there's not much to show, it's been pretty eventful.
The frames got swaped, the modified 33/34 fits like a glove.
Engine out and back in, front end out and back in, rear end welded up and put in,
The stock 34 frame for Priscilla needs some surgery and its on the table waiting

Just about got the body mounts made up and finished for Elvis

  22. Not too exciting,
Step 1 was mdf buck hammer form.
    Lots of scribing and marking.
    2 measure some more
    3 forearm workout.
4 zip screw the extension on and fit it in.
5 determine appropriate spacing so marking is accurate .

  24. There goes the paint job !
Im Not too happy, but I couldn't sleep

Edit: this is the start of a vicious downward spiral that leads to total destruction and complete rebuild of this body. At the time I had no idea just how bad things would get.

  25. Well this wheel well turned out to a much bigger PITA than expected.

The lip, the tail and the trunk flange.

  26. What an ass ache.

    What's the worst part?
Threw the completed paint job and body work in the shitter. The only reason I bought this us because the body was finished.

  29. Some motor mounts.
Finally got around to making the frame side of the mount.
With a tapered frame and offset engine mounts each of the 4 frame pieces are different.
Nothing fancy, just sleek simple effective hot rod parts.
Little more polishing and they will probably get chromed so they can be sexy hot rod parts.
