What's the spectator situation at TROG?
    1. Is there spectator parking or do we park on city streets?
    2. Is overnight parking allowed? (I have a truck camper)
    3. Can we take folding beach chairs onto the beach?
    4. Is there a snow fence or similar barricade that a spectator could not see over from a chair?
    5. Are beach umbrellas or canopies allowed?
    6. Is there a designated spectator area or can spectators roam from starting line to finish line?
    7. Can spectators get anywhere near the pit area?
    8. Is there anything else that would be helpful for a spectator to know beyond what is on the TROG website?

  2. Thanks for re-posting this, Frank. Can spectators just show up and pay admission or do we need to purchase tickets in advance?

The race course is fenced off from spectators with a plastic mesh fence. I think it is 4ft tall. The "windows" were big in the mesh. Spectators line the length of the course but most are clumped into the first half. You are free to roam, it is a huge beach. From street to the water is 1/4 mile at low tide. You can walk up and buy tix the day of event. I did not see any chairs or umbrellas in 2015. You can e-mail Green or Stultz for answers though. Only car owners/mechanics were allowed in pit area but they opened the pits to everyone for a short time between races. See you there!
