  3. A little spring fever. IMG_1564.JPG IMG_1520.JPG I took my dad and grandkids to the park this week. Our 56 is just a daily driver.

Dang!!! I'd give ALL my cars/trucks, tools, engines, and parts for this car; I'd even throw in my 14 guitars I can no longer play due to neuropathy. I would have to keep my big and little Cragar S/S wheels and tires to put on it however.1956 Chevrolet Model 150's are my downfall. I am Butch/56sedandelivery..

  15. Butch, sounds like you could have a big sale then buy your dream.
Ran into yet another guy this week who didn't believe there were Bel Air sedans. He thought all Bel Airs to be hardtops. Odd, but it seems I've heard it a lot.

How rare would a 56 Belair sedan with six cylinder powerglide be.?

Not all that rare. A 150 utility sedan with a factory dual quad 265, now that's another story... ;)

  18. Like 427 said, not a hens tooth. But I'd be checking it out big time at a show! Easily 95% of the tri fives out there run small blocks. Six cars these days aren't often seen. Bel Air with a six is cool in my book.

It’s not a 56 or a sedan but I picked up this original highland green bel air 2 dr hard top 6 cylinder pwr glide a few yrs back. Not super common but not that special either. Other than the front end which came from another car there is not much that can be salvaged on this car. Even the frame was rusted through. IMG_5917.JPG

Frankfort, Illinois. This one was in process. My pal didn't lose interest, it was
put on the back burner for a while. This pic is almost 13 years old.

Lemont, Illinois cruise night twelve summers ago. Nice to see a '56 w/o a
straight axle and a Moon tank hanging off its upper lip. This is more of a
classic late '60s look than all the gasser replicas we see.
