transmission adapter

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by flatheadnut0, Aug 16, 2004.

  1. I am planning to use a 48 packard tranny on my 49 Ford flattie. I have a 36 packard toploader. My question is: has anyone made an adapter for this? I don't want to reinvent the wheel, if unneccessary.

Try using a Cad adapter, that is what I'm using. I put a 37 Buick top loader behind my blown flathead. We had to plug a hole or two and re-drill but everything else was fine. I got mine from Belmont's Rod and Custom. 617- 326-9599.--TV [IMG]
