More engine work.. I had a couple of stripped threads in the block on the drivers side. Easy repaired with some helicoils.

Found my clutch chatter issue..Flywheel and clutch are smoked! flathead 003.JPG flathead 004.JPG

Very nice car. It looks like you're gonna be in fine shape, no matter what direction you go with it. I like the wheels a lot.

Like the car, and the direction you're headed. Early flywheel on a late engine, I have one of those
in the barn, looks like it got pretty hot. Please take lots of pics, and keep posting. This is going to
    be a good one.....

  4. Looking good George! That thing is sweet! While you got the heads off, why not through those Arduns on it?... stock hood, unchopped and then pop the hood and blow peoples minds!!

Thanks Jason...Thats a great idea! But,as you probably saw I have listed it and my Arduns for sale on the Hamb..I have a line on something else that I'd really like to get so some things will be sold. Sucks, but I don't have a rich relative to help me out. Ha ha!

  6. I did see the Arduns, but didn't see the coupe for sale. Cant wait to see what the next thing is. You always seem to find some really kick ass rides!

OMG (as most teen age girls say most the time) what a jewel. Man I'm with ya on a hot rod but it really takes mans desire and love for a 34 hot rod to "rod" this baby. Am with ya some what but I ain't got the cahonas to do it. I'll be following along though cause there ain't nothin like a 33/34 Ford coupe. (Who was it said 32's are the quintessential hot rod, it damn sure wasn't me.) That title belongs to 33'/34' 3 window and 5 window coupes. Imo of course.

I've revisited this thread a couple of times just to look at the picture you took of your car in front of the gas pumps. That's a perfect hot rod. I've seen several on the HAMB that I think are its equal, but none any better.

I have made some progress on the 34 coupe..Motor is reassembled and back in the 34 coupe. Haven't got her fired up yet and probably won't be able to for a while..Heading to Florida to help out some friends who's homes were damaged thanks to Hurricane Irma! 34 003.JPG 34 004.JPG

  13. Love the wires. And the trim rings are a nice touch with the black wheel/black tire combo.

Getting much closer now to my vision..Got her running a driving again..Man, she runs so sweet!..Dual carbs are not dialed in yet so shes just running on the front carb..I'm liking the rubber rake so far..The car has stock springs in it that I haven't reversed yet so there is room to make it a little lower without a dropped axle..I'll remove the rear spare tire mount and add some headers and dual exhaust. 34coupe 001.JPG 34coupe 003.JPG 34coupe 006.JPG 34coupe 009.JPG
