ok guys im thinking of getting a lokar shifter over the gennie. i had a gennie on it before when i bought the car, and it would slip out into neutral. and i know that the lokar has a lockout on it.

i feel its safer than the gennie, or maybe the guy who owned my car before me just fucked it up the shifter on my car?

now the question i have is, who is an alliance member vendor that i can buy it from? i rather give my cash to an alliance member then a nobody! thanks

No GOOD reason for the Gennie to slip into neutral. Unless the friction setting has been messed with. A simple tightening of the friction adjustment should be the cure. The Lokar still has no lockout between neutral and drive, it just shifts between the two settings with just a nudge of the handle.

yea it works kinda like newer shifters, and the friction probably was messed with? its been so long when we took it out, i dont know what happened to it? time for a new one.
