    The car above^ is at US 30 not far from The King Speed Shop in Lansing, IL.
    Here’s a later iteration of the car, it was built by a brother of the owners of the shop. The King sponsored a large number of cars.

    Info I found at The Henry Ford Museum website says 60 trams were built by General Motors.

    Hey B,

    In further research, this photo popped up at an old cacklefest. The photographer must have stood on a fence for a better shot than the original. Or, he was smart enough to step up + away from the action and let his telephoto lens do the talking...

    It is a great shot and clearly shows the name as Bob Malone from Houston, Texas.
