  11. We watched a PBS program about Duke Kahanamoku last night... It was GREAT! He was a world famous swimmer as well as surfer. Very interesting guy who almost single-handedly spread surfing around the world, and introduced it to Australia and New Zealand, where he is revered to this day. If you get the chance, watch it, you'll be impressed, even if you're not a surfer!

    It sounded pretty interesting, I didn't actually watch most of it. It was burning on the TV in the shop while I was modifying the generator mounts on my old John Deere 440 dozer from 1959 to take a one wire 10si Delco.

    i fricken LOVE that rear wheel/tyre look.. the width to height ratio.. the squareness, how much the sidewall pulls in to the wheel....

    anyone happen to know what size wheels n tyres theyre likely to be using there and then when it was taken..?
