I believe those were in the James Dean flick "Rebel Without A Cause."

I stand corrected.

 

One of them could have been in Rebel without a cause. I don't remember. If it was, it would be on the sidelines of the chicken race.

 

I did see one or more of those old Chevys in an old black and white.
Not sure which it was. My remember is starting to forget!

The photo was on the front page of Illustrated Speedway News The article says when a driver from down under ( Austrailia ) goes under he does it in spectacular fashion . Driver Lew Marshall took this wild flip at Sydney Austrailia Westmead Speedway . Marshall escaped with wrist injuries
