I've always liked this photo, I've got a copy in an old frame hanging in my shop. I just noticed the huge Consumer Liquors store ( like a BevMo, nowadays) and the full parking lot. Leave it to hot rod hoodlums to hang out in a liquor store parking lot. Anyone know where it is?
How many of the cars can we put a name with. Looks like Tony LaMasa sitting in his car. Maybe Neal East in the roadster in the background? The two in front look very familiar but I can't put a name to them.

 

Scritchfield at the left front in the McGee, Hirschberg hiboy. Hirschberg sold it to Scritch after he had swapped in the SBC and painted the car yellow. The photo isn't very clear but that car in the background looks like a Model A to me, based on the cut of the front fenders and the windshield.

 

Looks to be in the side parking lot of Consumers Liquor Store W. Sunset blvd. L.A. Store is still there.
