    It’s legit, IIRC that guy made his money developing a hard facing process to increase the life of drill bits for oil exploration. He had an avid interest in astronomy and had the telescope mounted on the 3W to bring astronomy to the masses.

    Pretty rare 65 Chevelle two door wagon, I had a 64 many years ago.

    It seems the telescope is mounted through the interior of the coupe with stabilizers mounted underneath.
    Google Shelley Stoody, he was a very interesting man.

  22. Wow, I thought for sure it was nothing more than the photographer taking advantage of the positioning of the coupe relative to the telescope that was in front of the coupe, not IN the coupe. Like when you see people holding the leaning tower from falling etc.
