    I started on page one, and I'm a huge fan of the "Big Daddy". When they came to Budd's Creek in Southern MD they were busy, but went out of there way to try and get you a quick answer to your questions. One of my buddy's managed to get up close and asked, "Mr Don, What percentage of overdrive do run on your blower.?" He smiled and just said, "the mechanic does that, I just drive them."

    Anyway, he did do a lot of engineering on rear engine cars. But the "Israely Rocket", a team out of FLA had a successful rear engine car that went straight and was very competitive. Their car is in Don's museum. In 63 they were running a Blown Gas Olds at 170+.

    Yes, sir. I couldn't make out anything other than the flags on that Bel Air. No numbers was a 283?
