35 ford wires and firestone blackwalls installed and I gotta say it looks pretty badass! Now we have a hot rod , dual carbs on and offy intake for the mercury flathead
Nice change to see an A Coupe with fenders!
Recently got pictures from the guy I got the coupe from when he picked it up. About 25 years ago , he has some of the history on it . Says the original owner owned a meat company on 38th /flower here in Los Angeles , hopefully I can get more details . Now I see why the front fenders were primed black
Thought yours looks so rad that it fired me up to get mine out of the garage after a couple years
Can’t go wrong with big and littles on a full fender A
Sweet sedan! I gotta find some caps for my wires
I’ll be picking up my coupe tomorrow, super stoked to bring it home. Drove it last weekend
Car runs great , break in run was 40+ miles on fwy. Cruises at 55 much better than I expected. Had to see my c10 but very happy with my coupe,
Come on man video/photos!
Congrats on the drive
Can’t post video for some reason but here’s some pictures from my dogs first ride in it to the dog park
It's easy to post a video on here, you need to load the video on youtube.com and then post the link on here!
Yeah it makes it look like you can post videos like photos but you can’t. Gotta host them via YouTube or the like
Also I can’t tell you how fast I’d be turning around if I was headed down the road and saw that car at the dog park lol. So good man
Damn, that's a hotrod for sure!
Cool looking car. But keep an eye on those front wishbone mounts where they are welded to the frame. The frame rail material might not be strong enough to handle the forces that are going to be passed to it and might start to crack just outside the welds. My 32 coupe had the mounts attached to just the lower flange and they cracked a lot.
Thanks for the info , I’ll be sure to keep an eye on it
Thanks , it’s been a long road but glad to be at this point
Valley cruise day
Valley cruise day today at LA Zoo
Nice! Looks like your parked next to Bugs’ roadster. Lots of details in that one
Love the stance, fenders, tire/wheel combination, Flathead..is this cool Hot Rod going to get paint?
Yrs that roadster is amazing
No paint! It’s taken 50 years to look like this I’m not gonna change it . At least not till I have to
Love my new daily driver
