Thanks Dean, I can't wait for the body to sit over the tires myself;)

Thank You Jalopy, More on the build right after we get through the Sweepstakes!

Thanks buddy, The car will be a "Transformer" able to run with or without the "T" body. I'm afraid the Glass and Resin will be "all over Rocky's Hands":D!

Thank You, I'm looking forward to the "T" body on it myself. I think the way the tires will be under the body giving it the appearence of being Loooow will be so COOOL:D

Just a couple oldies to keep your mental image fresh.
'Course they're each in dire need of another engine but we can forgive'em that small omission. :D

    Thanks poofus!
    Thank You Cowboy!
A little bit of car update..........I pulled the trigger on my new clutch from 10,000 RPM. Ron Hammel is a super guy, very helpfull, interested in my build, and the fact he toured with the Howards Twin Bear in the early 60's is really cool!

just remember, no matter how much you spent on the clutch, its still wayyyyy cheaper than most other dragsters. let alone twin engine dragsters. and wayyyyyyyy coooler than all of em combined :):):) i hope i can see u this summer if you get the sweepstakes. im from south dakota but ill be headed south on a harvesting crew so maybe i can somehow make it to a show if it all happens

  20. And way better than sawing the car in half with a poor quality clutch. Glad you pulled the trigger Rocky! Very cool that the guy building the clutch was associated with the Twin Bear!!

I lost count but who cares as long as the Evil Twin wins! How much pressure is that badass clutch and/or is it adjustable?

Thank You 383'! I thought about ways to make a 2 disce but that would be foolish. I do care about myself and even more about people who come to see the car run. $1500 well spent IMO. Rocky
Thanks Dean! I agree on the clutch, just a shame to hide it under the bellhousing:D

    Thank You cowboy!
    Thank You Poofus!
Thank You Chris! Can't wait to come up to Washington, been a while.........WOW 30yrs since I pulled the Edelbrock trailer around the West Coast!
Thank You Carl! Glad your home safe and sound!

    Thank You Mark!
I didn't ask Ron, but I'd guess using a Diaphram spring about 2000-2500lbs static with no adjustment. Thank you Eli!
