Not liking the change so I tried wheel disks. Toned it down some Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I'm interested to see the white, looks more unique. Not to be a hypocrite but the red screamed "bones" clone which is fine but if you can equal a contemporary with a different approach all the better. Love that you keep going with this resurrection. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
not done yet..just a pic to get a feel for it........I think it will eventually go back to solid black . Just experimenting with different looks
I liked the sinister look it had when all BLACK. Willie Black, the painter that did the Bud Bryan R&C '29 highboy had a license plate bracket on his '29 highboy (on a chrome '29 frame!) that proclaimed, "Black is Beautiful." I wasn't sure if he meant "Willie", or his work...or his roadster. (he was known for flawless black paint!)
congratulations on a great job .You saved one that was a real challenge .Driving your build for the first time is always fantastic feeling .
so I am finally getting around to working on the fenders. these are a mess but I am liking the new look
Hard to believe that is the same car. I guess you have fender braces I do have an extra piece that goes below the grill and ties the fenders together. Drop me a line I have a few other things as well.
Man, I really liked the Red flames..............go back to Home Depot and a few more cans of that RED!!! LOL
Glad you saved it from the scrappers , I like it better without the fenders Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Reading back thru this old thread So I decided to post some current pics Still planning to do more work on the body but its a running and driving project for now now
Congratulations, being able to finally drive something you built with your own 2 hands is so rewarding. If you’re anything like me, you were probably grinning from ear to ear...
I'm glad to see you decided not to sell it. You need to drive it down to Wimberley next weekend. https://thehotrodshowdown.com/
