Just saw a picture of the King T in the Sacramento show. Anyone know the story where it has been and who redid? Spectacular car from the era.
i remember seeing it in his shop in sacramento ! at that time it was a small hole in the wall on broadway , now its an old safeway . awesome !! ...... steve
Ken Mcbride in Seattle owns it.(ballard) Bought it around the same time he got the "avenger" 10 years ago? Don't know who did the restore.
I saw it in pic at GNRS too. I remember Tognotti was lookin for it yrs. ago so, is this one orig or clone?
It's the original. Gene Winfield did the body and paint last fall. I'm not sure who put it together, but McBride's crew did the final details.
re49,I take it you know those guys? Al...is he still there? I really like the neon collection he had.The big dealership signs were cool !
Yeah, I know them. I work for a collector on the next block. Al is gone, retired, but still works at Britsport once in awhile. Ken still has an amazing collection of neon etc and a whole bunch of new cars in the past year.
