I went to the autowreckers in search of a exhaust manifold and one thing lead to another and I ended up purchasing a sbc 350 complete from 4 barrel carb to oilpan for 200.00 the numbers on the block are 3932388 the heads are 3970126 best I can find its a 1969 I can't find anything on hp though, anybody have any particulars on this engine? to the best of my recolection is its gonna be a flat top piston engine so I am hopeing for more than your average hp from a mid 70's engine I didn't hear the thing run but bought it on hope and a prayer, he thinks it may have low compression in 1 cylinder but couldn't recall that many years ago since he did the test, I am gonna pull it apart and regasket it and have a look, I can say there is not a speck of sludge in it when I pulled the valve covers
