Hey guys, Larry Wood, the "Hot Wheels" guy, is trying to get Brian Brennan from Street Rodder to do a feature on hot rods and vintage campers. Send Larry pics of your cool combo to: [email protected], and get Street Rodder to publish something we can like!

Here's our 1945 KIT mfg. teardrop behind the 55 wag I restored and our 1960 Avion we now pull with the 50 Burb. With 2 75lb hound dogs, my wife likes the room in the Avion alot better than the drop.

    Our 1947 Tourette teardrop.

    Attached Files:

  10. My little teardrop made by a fellow HAMBer. It's got 12 inch wheels/tires with the rubber torsion axle...way too heavy duty for the light trailer. I think I'll put parallel leafs [prolly 2 leafs] from a 57 ford pickup under it with a dropped axle..I also have a pair of 50 chevy pickup rear fenders for it...might hafta narow them down a bit.

Here is our 1969 Ideal Travel Trailer (14 feet) It took us over two years to find a trailer in our area and for the price we wanted to pay. My wife has wanted a trailer for over 30 years! Better late than never! Worked on it for a year off and on between building hotrods. Plan on taking it to as many car shows and events as possible. The maiden voyage is this week to the GG Southwest Natls. Check out pictures of the rebuild on our website.
