I have the "latest" behavior set to newest post in thread date, not newest I posted. So I'm expecting a thread I posted on months and ago pop to the top if a new post hits the thread, no matter if my post was very early in a big thread. But this doesn't always work that way. Sometimes when you scroll down to load more threads, you will see additional threads with unread new posts. See screenprint for an example.
