New to this part....I have he opportunity to buy a 1928 model t frame and engine for little of nothing. It does not have a title. The seller told me that the "salvage yard would help her get one if she needed it". My question is this...if i buy the frame and work on it and get it ready and then in a year or so I find a body with a title....is that all I'll need to get the truck titled in TN

ok, so maybe I should just offer 400 for the flathead, frame, and front end/rear end and then worry about the title later....any ideas

    1928 would be a Model A.

Each state is different. I used Broadway Title, "bought" my car from them out of Alabama. Got it inspected with the bill of sale. Got a title in my name in Missouri.
    Mileage may vary.

Model A's are titled with a motor# and matching frame #, usually stamped on the left frame rail just behind the front body mount bolt.Model A's did not have any body numbers, for ID purposes.

I'm wondering if this is a decent deal....#345.00 for frame, front end, rear end, springs, steering column. I'm still a little freaked out about the title thing.

i went back and looked at the pictures again. has a straight axle with no drop in it at all...the wishbone is still attached to the oil pan. the frame isn't boxed or anything like that...the rear cross member still has the spring attached to it and the transmission looks great
