I am running 15 by 10 wheels i was thinking of running a 275/60 tire does anybody have pics with this combo or have any input on if this would look good cause i read on diamond back tires that they recommend a 15/9. Only thing is i need a 28 inch tall tire with wide whites
Sorry no pictures, but a 275 tire will sit better on a 10 inch rim than a 9, 9 is the minimum recomended rim width for that width of tire, It's allways better to use wider rims than the minimum. So yeah go with it.
The tire manufacturer's minimum recommended rim width (depending on which manufacturer's specs you read) for the 275/60-15 goes as narrow as 7.5". I have run them on 7" wheels with no issues although the sidewalls do bulge a bit, still looks fine and not out of line with the narrow rim-wide tire look that was around during the '60s. If you have the room inside the fender wells (or without fenders!) to run them on a 10" wide wheel then go for it, but they still fit and work well on narrower wheels. Firestone Indy 500 275/60-15 mounted on an 8" wheel shown below, they recommend a 7.5-9.5" rim width range:
