Technical Tight yoke

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by blacknwhitedog, Jan 18, 2021.

  1. I have a 37 ford axle and am using model A bones. In fitting the wishbone yokes to the axle, they are so tight that I either need to enlarge the distance between the yoke ears or file the perch boss slightly to get the yoke to slip over. Is this common?

  3. They are both 2 1/4. I managed to use a big drift and got them close. I think it will work out. I think the yokes were slightly tweaked. I spread them slightly and got them started. The drift did the rest. Thanks
