Bringing home my 34 Chevy sedan in the mid 70's with my buds
1972.........On my way to apply for a job, driving my freebie 55 Pontiac. My grandmother took the photo with her little brownie box camera. .
I got the job.
Sanding on my newly acquired 32 Ford coupe back in the early 70s. You can barely see my 1958 Corvette peeking out at the bottom of the photo. I didn't pay but a thousand bucks or less for either one of them.
Laying out flames on my friend Charlie Burrows' 27 T circa 1974. What is not apparent is that the car is in his living room! Sprayed with red.orange,and yellow alklyd enamel. His wife is still finding yellow overspray after all these years! Sorry Cheryl

My '57 Chevy when I was in high school. Wow! Today I have less hair, more pounds, thankfully I wear more clothes and sad to say no more Nomad....

This was taken in 1967 parked in front of my grandparents house on Thanksgiving my 1963 1/2 Falcon Sprint and my 16 year old girlfriend. HRP
At 38 I'm probably the age of you guys kids. Can't decide which was more fun at 16, having multiple cars at 16 or having multiple 16 year old girlfriends.
A 1976 purchase at the age of 15 for $200. A California car. The pix above was in 1984 w Hurst motor mount kit (still have) /a 396/400 turbo Camaro posi added. Driven to Tulsa and was a daily.

Wow...I bet you thought about that A during those rare peaceful moments during your time there. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I hope you came back to that car and made up for lost time.
