I can tell you don't have any experience because your first mistake was buying a Ford.

I always say "See the U.S.A in your Chevrolet" and "See the auto mechanic in your Ford"

Welcome! I've had my 53 4dr since 1974. Bought it for $120. Restored it once and customised it twice. Still running the overhead six and still loving it! Have fun with yours.

Thanks for all the comments. As for Chevy vs Ford debate, I'm clueless. Doubt I'm going to get any Calvin pee-stickers anytime soon though.

Bulletproof, do you have a 4x4 Customline?

There are a FEW areas in Utah that require 4WD or chains in inclement weather, but its mostly the roads to where the ski areas are. Those requirements can last months at a time. Where I live its 110 all summer, mid 60's most of the winter, and rarely snows. Cruise roadsters and ride motorcycles year round.

Team 13, join the Utah social group. These guys will help you as they can, parts, advice, happenings, etc. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?groupid=20

Good luck and enjoy the Ford!
