Wish I had the insights at 16 as I do today, 57 years later. I would have retained many
    on the following list.

    '41 Cad, rag top
    '40 merc cp.
    '42 Ford bus. cp.
    '35 Ford 5w cp.
    '49 Ford rag top
    '50 Merc rag top
    ' 40 Ford dlx cp. /sbc Chev
    '40 Ford std cp./354 Chry
    ' 56 Chrysler 300B / std shift trans
    '53 Stude cp
    '57 Chev Nomad
    ' 37 Buick 2dr flat back
    '41 Buick special cp.
    '53 Buick Skylark ragtop
    '37 Chev cp./ '67 Pontiac SOHC 250 6cyl
'48 GMC Bus/ ex Greyhouund Silver side / MH conversion

I've still have a few projects in the shop, but if I'd used the list to fund retirement,I would have more likely doubled my monthly income.

'64 Mercury Comet 2dr post. Have a picture of it somewhere & can't find it. Worked on it for years. Ended up with Metallic Blue paint, black roll & pleat interior, warmed up 302, 3.50 rear, top loader 4 speed, nice wheels, and more. Many memories in that car. Taking her to the strip, making out in it, general hell raising in it etc... Sold it in the summer of 1971 when I just had to have one of those new Duster 340's. It's the only car I really wish I had back. I still dream about finding it and driving it again.

'67 Camaro. I bought it from an old couple who used to come to the gas station I worked at. Got it for $200. It had a little rust in a rear window corner, straight 6 and a powerglide. Body was straight. I joined the Navy and my mom sold it to a "We Buy Junk Cars" guy for..... $25.

I bet that guy laughed all the way home.

  7. I had a blue 66 Bonneville. I called her Baby Blue, but sold her to a friend who used it as a parts car then brought it to the crusher for extra cash. I forever regret that.

I miss my 69 Camaro. I felt like i was stabbed in the heart for a week after i sold it.

  9. 68 1/2 Mustang fast back, 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed
traded it for a 72 Fiat 124 Spider
I was drinking a lot in those days

  10. This is a picture taken of me and my Dad in 1988 with our 55 Bel Air hard top. We had only finished it the year before. Black cherry pearl paint, grey cloth interior with a hopped up 283. We sold it to someone near Boston in 1989. I lost track of it in the mid 90's.

I would sell both of my current cars to buy this one back. I have the green light from my sponsor (wife), but I cant find the car.
